John Botti is a CIA graduate, Middletown native and the chef-owner of John's Harvest Inn for 30 years. Each meal is prepared to order, using the freshest ingredients available and accommodating special dietary concerns when needed. John works with local producers whenever he can, although price and acquiring the goods - as well as the time of year - can be problematic.

Cuisine: Continental; a lot of saute work using veal, chicken and seafood - with an occasional infusion of a family dish with Northern Italian roots.

Local Purveyors: We have a longstanding relationship with Royal Acre Farms, our neighbor, and try to keep a supply of banana bread on hand from the gluten-free bakery in Florida. As opportunities have arisen over the years, we've used products from Warwick Valley Winery, Murray's Chickens and local cheeses from the farmers markets.
