SOONS ORCHARDS

Soons Orchards and Farm Market is 100 years old and growing strong! We grow over 50 kinds of apples and 20 kinds of peaches and nectarines; summer vegetables, winter squash, pumpkins, and the best sweet corn. We grind our own peanut butter, make our famous applesauce and apple cider donuts, and we press our own apple cider (many say it’s the best apple cider they’ve ever had!). Fresh scratch pies by Scotty’s Country Kitchen are a must-have.
We feature local foods - including organic, grass-fed beef, free range eggs, goat cheese, honey, maple syrup, premium local milk from pastured cows, root vegetables/ onions/potatoes from the famous Black Dirt region nearby. We also carry locally produced pasta/soup and spice mixes, kettle corn, candy and more. We offer tons of samples and do cooking demos often. Our popular three-course dinner at the Farm is monthly, with Chef Shawn Hubbell. Our U-Pick apple orchard, with kid-friendly trees and great apples, is open weekends starting Labor Day. Hay wagon rides to our U-Pick pumpkin patch start late September. Soons is in New Hampton NY, in Orange County, between Middletown and Goshen, about 65 miles from New York City. Visit us for the best apples, apple-picking and more – we are open daily all year except June and early July.
