We practice Biodynamic agriculture. We also incorporate principles of permaculture into our growing practices, using machine cultivation and tillage but harvesting all by hand. We work with a team of apprentices every year and through classroom learning, hands-on daily practice and work, and community living we aim to equip ourselves and others with the skills and attitudes that promote a healthy and sustainable agrarian lifestyle.
We are a 4 season farm with a destination market place which features our greenhouse annuals & perennials in spring. U-pick blueberries and raspberries create a strong summer attraction along with our extensive array of local vegetables, fruit and cheeses.
Rhubarb begins in early spring, veggies in summer, and apples, pears & pumpkins are synonymous with autumn and the changing foliage of our surrounding Hudson Valley.
Kesicke Farm offers a wide variety of products in various seasons. Come see us at our farm stand at 229 Middle Road, Rhinebeck, NY 12572 during the summer for farm fresh produce including sweet corn, watermelons, cantaloupes, tomatoes, squash, seasonal fruits and much more.
Our establishment is a year-round family friendly local source for high quality food and ornamental crops. Being a small family owned and operated business, we utilize roughly 30 acres for crop production.
