Founded in 2009, Hawk Dance Farm is a 3 acre farm in Hillsdale, NY run by Damon & Diane. We grow heirloom vegetables, herbs and flowers and make by hand 100% Beeswax Candles using exclusively local beeswax from the Hudson Valley, Southern Adirondacks, and Connecticut. Our goal is to educate people about pollinating insects, the benefits of using beeswax, buying locally, and supporting their fellow farmers. 

On our land we utilize no chemicals, pesticides, or herbicides in our farming practices. Our farm is not mechanized, and we do everything sustainably by hand, we are committed to low impact, non-toxic methods. Our soil is nourished with rich compost and green manure cover crops, and we use low till methods to preserve the health of the soil. We grow a variety of heirloom vegetables, herbs, and flowers and by doing so we are conserving the heritage of our forefathers. Our produce, herbs and flowers, jams and candles are available at our local farmers’ market as well as local natural food stores.
